Dir sir,
For calibration, disconnect any probes or cables from the input connectors.
About the latest software, you can send a mail to support@hantek.com to get.
Please test it on win7, convenient for us to find the reason. Thank you for your cooperation.

For calibration the instructions say to ground the probe.  What do you mean when you say "unplug the probe"?

Is the latest software available online?  The software download link for the old DSO3204a had disappeared.

Windows 7 is really not a long term option.  If you wanted me to test it, I can but I really need this to work on Win10.

Is there a private way I can send you my email?  Or can you put the software in some public cloud where I can grab it?

Dir sir,
I want to send a software to you. Please give me your email.
Please install the latest software to try.
If not, please change a Win7 computer to try.
By the way, please unplug the probe to do self calibration.

Amy:

Here is a dropbox link to the video.  It shows the entire calibration sequence including moving the probe from the ground to the 2vp-p ref signal once the cal is complete.  You will see the square wave on the screen show about 6vp-p.  You will also notice at about 2:45 in the video, the application locks up.  Unplugging the USB and re-plugging it recovers from the lock up.  I have experience this issue ever since I received the unit.  It that normal?  The application also tends to lock up if I grab the trigger voltage symbol on the right side of the screen and slide it.  The software version here is 1.0.8.

Please let me know what my options are to get these issues resolved.

Thanks

Jerry

At one point the device calibrated correctly on Windows 7 BUT I have not gone back and tried that since upgrading the computer to Win 10.  I currently do not have the software installed on a windows 7 machine.  I will do some testing tonight and capture some video to send to you.  I doubt Windows 10 had anything to do with the calibration issue.  I would think that is all contained inside the 3204A.

Sir,
The device can work on Win7 normally?
When you do self calibration, do you input any signal to 4 channels? Please don't input any signal to try.
About the voltage measurement, please give us a short video to study.
