My brand new 2D10 shows a strange "interference signal" when the memory depth is set to more than 40k. The interference signal always appears with a time delay after increasing the memory depth and overlays the measurement signal. (Many, very short spikes on the screen) It also appears without any probes connected. Can I regard this behaviour as another bug or is there possibly a hardware defect?
I have already tested different software and Firmware versions. (At this moment, the actual Firmware from December 30. 2021 is installed, it doesn't help...)
Here a video of this issue.

Unfortunately I have the same issue on my 2D10 I received just a couple of days ago from Banggood.
Displaying signal at 4k and 40k points works OK, but when I go higher in memory settings, the scope starts behaving badly.
Memory settings 400k, 4M and 8M are unusable.
This happens almost instantly when I change the Volts/div setting, zooming in on the signal.
If I switch it OFF and ON again, the problem comes back by adjusting V/div.
The problem exist also in GND coupled mode or even the probe disconnected with no signal at all.
Serial: CN21350290127xx
SW: 20210726
HW: 3.2.1.0.0.0.0.1
FW: 3202
I have since tried the latest SW from the Hantek site 20211230, it behaves the same.
I hope Hantek will reply, I'd like to know if it is a hardware or software defect and can we expect a fix?
My video of the problem is available here:

I have the same issue with a brand new 2D15. I also tested it with the provided firmware, and the latest one.
Here are my videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vd8mAi3oPI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJYGLvc7Mws

Edit: other issues on the device:First: the sine frequency does not match the frequency of the generator.  Or the generator is really that bad that makes a 0.6 Hz modulation? Second: a different type of noise appears at the end of the buffers acquiring at 40K.I don?t trust this device as a measurement/testing equipment as far as it is behaving. Is is expected to behave this bad? Are all these hardware or software/firmware issues?

Just a quick feedback from me, the received FW upgrade fpga3203 solved the issue for me, I have not experienced the signal spikes any more.
I have also shared the package on the corresponding EEVBLOG forum page.

Hi PY2ZFC-CT1EFF. Thanks for your try.
This is good news for you. For those of us who have the problem, can someone from Handek tell us what to do? To return the unit; No one answers.

Vagrex Post!
Τhe problem does not always occur. Have you tried to play with the volts/div knob while you are at 8M? It may take several minutes for the problem to occur but when it does it appears it is visible at 400k 4M and 8M. If you turn off and start the dso it disappears and it will take time for it to reappear. If you do not use any buttons and just have a waveform on the screen, it never does the problem. I don't think the volts/div knob is the problem. Whenever you make any change when you are in 4M or 8M(change input let's say) the problem may be visible.

My answer to Vagrex!
Hi Vagrex!
After reading your post, I went to do the test as you reported, the test was exhausting, it took an hour, making changes to the memory depth, in VOLTS/DIV, SEC/DIV and TRIGGER LEVEL, it always worked correctly, without any problem. The serial number of my DSO2D15 is: CN2136029013321

My DSO2D15 purchased in October 2021, the memory depth works perfectly well in all situations 4K 40K 400K 4M 8M this with all software, came from factory with dso3kb_20210814.upk software, currently is with dso3kb_20220210.upk and the firmware remains the same 3202, I believe your DSO may have ardware problem.
