Is it possible to fix the input board on these scopes? I have one of these with what I suspect has blown inputs possibly from over voltage from previous user.  Self calibration freezes at step 12 [error 0x100] Using square wave calibration produces no wave even when pressing auto set! Am I missing something here or have I bought a non working scope? Thanks in advance for any help you may send my way.

Thanks for your time and patience but sending it back to the factory is not an option as I live in New Zealand. Shipping costs alone (not to mention the cost of inspection) would make this a most expensive venture. I guess I’ll have to diagnose it myself from here. So being a motherboard fault can you possibly point me in the right direction as to what possible components could be faulting please?

Sir, sorry, we suspect it's a motherboard failure. But we can't pinpoint where is fault.
Please send it back to the factory for inspection.

What a complete waste of my time. Can someone here give me a better answer please? Like maybe a list of causes for the errors the scope has been outputting would be far better than "return for fixing". Anyone???

Can you tell me what the fault is with the main board please Amy? I may be able to fix it myself.

Sir, the power board looks good.
Please contact your seller to return the main board to factory for repair.

The -7v rail is at -8.4v. All the rest of the rail voltages are correct.

Sir, please dismantle the scope and measure the voltages as the picture to check the power supply.

And give me the measurement results to study.
