So I am trying to get the inductive clamp to be setup on the secondary ignition system. When I put the clamp on the spark plug wire it will read signwaves for a small amount of time then it will cause the program to stop, and say looking for device. I unplug the clamp and it goes back to connected. I also noticed when I disconnected the inductive clamp it shocked me. Is the clamp defective and letting too much current to go thru? Everything else has been working with the program and Hantek1008C just fine.

Hi .
I think you need to use a 20:1 attenuator in the scope channel line
This is also my question t ...

I have purchased and received the 20:1 attentuator and the same thing is still happening. Does this mean I have a defect on the attentuator?
