Future of software updates

I recently purchased a Hantek 6254BD which from a hardware standpoint appears to work pretty well.  


My question is does Hantek have any plans to update the Hantek 6004BX software to fix the numerous bugs?   I would be happy to list out the bugs I've found I just feel it would be a waste of my time if they have no plans on actually fixing them.   On another note I think if the software has been shelved for other projects that it would be a great service to the community to release the software to the public so other  coders could fix and enchance the funtionality.   This would be a win win for both sides,  Hantek would sell more USB scopes and the end user would get a better experience.   It appears based on the release date of the software under Help About it's not been updated for well over a year.  This is software just downloaded and installed from the official website moments ago.
