I tried that already. No matter which USB interface I use, same result.

Sir, please click "Send Commands To This Instrument".
Input "*IDN?". Repeatedly click "Send & Read" and observe whether there is a failure or error.

Please open the device and connect to PC.
Open Keysight IO Libraries Suite, and click "Start IO Monitor" to enter the following interface. And click "Start Capturing Messages".

Now, open the software, there may be some red font information.
Please save the massages and upload it or send it to me.

I tried to capture messages, both with LAN and USB connection.

Both times the capture was empty.

This is the log from IO Monitor.

Did you open the software?
If you did, please operate as follows:
1. Open Keysight IO Libraries Suite, and click "Start IO Monitor" to enter the following interface. And click "Start Capturing Messages".
2. Power on the device and connect it to PC.
3. OPen the DSO3000A software.
Is there some information in IO Monitor? Please give us to study.

I followed your steps.  I start the IOMonitor before I power up the DSO300, and I see the attached messages.

After that there are no more messages.

Please see atatched file.

Thank you !
