Hi everyone,

I'm an electronic engineering student and Hantek DSO5102P owner. The oscilloscope works good and it's an awesome oscilloscope as far as I've used it.

The problem I have is that I'm trying to get the points of the waveform from the software the oscilloscope connects to via USB: DigitalScope.

What I do inside the software is: File -> New -> Waveform Tabular, then record the points pressing the Run button.

The problem is that right clicking and saving the data, generates a file in ".dat" format, which is a TTScope Document as Windows recognizes. I can't open it in any software I've tried so far, neither Excel or Openoffice Calc can open it.

I want to know if anyone have opened those files succesfully in any software and how to do it.

Thanks!

Sir, sorry to reply you so late.
".dat" format is a custom format, it can not be opened.
You can click "File->Export" to save the data as .txt or .csv format.
