I have a DSO5102P that got the black screen after a bad system recovery. When I turn the power on, only the relay trips and the cooler turns, but the front panel display and leds do not light up. I was advised to do a recovery through the RS232 port on my PC. Can someone please help me recover my DSO-5102?

amy... I can not make a backup of the system! Because the screen is totally black and the panel controls do not work, no led lights ... Only the internal relay activates and the cooler turns when I turn on the power. The problem with my DSO5102P was in the operating system ... The cause of the problem was the lack of power in a system recovery caused by a malfunction, hence corrupted all oscilloscope data. I think only with the factory firmware and a step-by-step so I can retrieve my oscilloscope.

At hand I have a Windows 7 PC with COM1 RS232 port, a USB to TTL adapter. On the Hantek website I downloaded this firmware DSO5102P ((so5kp_func_dso5102p20140208.up)) But I'm not sure if the factory firmware or if it's just a firmware for bug fixes.
Here are some photos of what I've already been able to do on the net.

Would you like to know if this information from the second photo is correct?
Serial number DSO-5102P 1TG/136 016 138

Today when I pressed the power the panel LEDs came on but the screen went black! I tried the socket again and only the relay tripped and the cooler turned.

I posted this video on YouTube that shows Hantek's flaw.

Sir, the video is deleted, please use SecureCRT or other tools and refer to the following to operate ...

Excuse! I recorded another video with a better resolution and deleted the first video, which was very bad. This is the new video.

What is the correct option to connect the USB / TTL adapter to the Hantek DSO5102P PCB?

This was the result presented by SecureCRT.
The only information shown in the SecureCRT area is this description: OM
As shown in the last image

Sir, the option1 should be the right one.
But you can try the two connection methods. Which one have ...

The photos securing shows the results using the method of option2.
I will try to reverse the position and observe if the result is the same!

Problem solved with the replacement of the old motherboard by a brand new and original. Value U $ 190 + shipping charges.

I opted to buy the new motherboard, because the import rate is smaller ... If I buy a new oscilloscope I will have to pay approximately over 600R $, on the motherboard I only paid 115R $.

Many thanks Amy, he was the one who sold me and sent the motherboard.

Just remembering that friend Amy offered me free repair of my Hantek oscilloscope, but I decided to buy the new motherboard. D
