Customer consultation

Hi:
I purchased one of your 6022BE USB scopes a few months ago. I did not have any occasion to use it until two weeks ago.
I had no problem installing the drivers and software and it was working fine up until yesterday.
Yesterday, I started up the computer and plugged in the scope USB Cable getting ready to diagnose an audio preamp.
Before I got a chance to make any measurements, the scope software froze and the LED on the scope box went out.
I unplugged the USB cable, shut down and restarted the software then plugged in the USB again. This time the software copuld not find the scope.
It simply displayed "searching device" in the lower left corner of the window. Strangely, as long as the scope was plugged in via USB, I could not use ny keyboard.
The serial no. of my 6022BE is CN2211036133767.
Is there a warranty that covers this kind of failure? I have used the scope less than 3 hours in total since purchase.

The machine is now connected. Will the light be on? Update the device driver in the device manager. The driver can be downloaded from the official website to see if it can solve the problem.

No, the light does not come on.  Also, I tried the newest drivers before contacting you.
The software cannot find the machine on USB. As I said, the unit is completely dead.

Please advise my next steps.

Dear Sir,
First test if there is 3.3V voltage in the place marked in Figure 1, if there is any. It is necessary to add a pull-up resistor 10K at the mark in Figure 2.

Jing, above you wrote 10k pullup resistor, but in the picture you actually used a 4.7K  resistor,  Which one should be used?  Thank you!

Dear Sir,
Resistance can range from 2K to 10K. 4.7K resistance is recommended, which is commonly used.
