just to confirm tried manually to install the drivers the program will run in demo mode only.

You only need to install the upper software without installing the driver again. The software supports Win XP/7/8/10

still the same program will only run in demo mode

They is no driver installed copy of device manager attached it shows the hantek as ydj-2088

if you try to update the driver in device manager from the drivers folder it comes up wth the error message windows could not load the installer for hantek

the operating system is vista home basic 32 bit

Already downloaded that driver Would Not Work

Just to confirm retried today again same error message also loaded certificate for this driver

if you try to update the driver in device manager from the drivers folder it comes up wth the error message windows could not load the installer for hantek

Try uninstalling and reloading the device in Device Manager. Refer to the documentation below.

Just to confirm every time you try to install driver
imediately it fails and crashes with this error message

Looking at other posts on other forums this is a common problem

This driver is not compatiable with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit

looks like it will be return back to Amazon for a full refund

The drivers for this product are not digitally signed and therefore will not allow the drivers for the scope to be installed. You cannot use the scope without these!! There is no work around unless you start modifying code in windows to disable requiring a signed driver.

Edit - changed back to one star. The driver is signed but expired years ago. After some fiddling and disabling driver signature requirements I got it to work and made some pretty good scope captures. What can you expect for the price I suppose.

After a reboot it defaults back and will not just plug and go. Hantek STILL hasn't updated the drivers and probably won't be at this point.
