I purchased the HDM3055 about a week ago. I am have trouble with the following.

Capacitance
Every time I place my probes in a circuit, I get 120 uF. If I measure a capacitor outside a circuit it works ok. I know the total in circuit capacitance is not over 120uF. I have checked that with an LCR meter and it is showing about 38uF yet with the Hantek I get 120 uF all the time which tells me it is overloading when measuring on a circuit board.

Resistance.

I was trying to measure a resistor of .15 ohm value with auto zero and pressing null. The readings were not correct.

If I go off of auto zero, short the probes and then press null, it seems to work okay. Should I not use auto zero for low values?

Dear Sir,

Greeting from Hantek.

The capacitor tested by the probe into the circuit and the capacitor tested outside the circuit are not the same concept, the capacitor tested in the circuit is equivalent capacitance, so the test is not accurate.

you are measure a resistor of .15 ohm value,  please to use the 4-wire resistance test method is more accurate.

Have a nice day.
