I have DSO5102P with serial number T 1G/138 053564 . Its not quite two years old and only done a handfull of hours use and I last used it about 3 months ago. When I powered it on yesterday on it did not boot. It hangs on startup screen with various buttons lit.
The recovery menus says that the system was niot shutdown properly, which is not the case as I leave it pluged in on my bench power on, off on the buttton on the front panel. In the UK we have very good mains power, no spikes, brownouts etc., so i think this just means that the root FS is corrupted.
I tried recovery menu but it didn't help.F2 option reports Operation Failed. F3 option with latest firmware which Idownloaded from Hantek website also
fails. I use an 8GB usb stick formatted FAT32, either as a singel partition or on a single 2GB partition.
