What is the process to backup firmware. On a series 5000 scope.
Is there is a list of all firmware avaliable for the DSO5120 from first to latest. I can only find the present firmware.
It came out of the box with a very old firmware from 2018 it is sluggish when measuring and it hangs / freezes form time to time.
Was hoping that the new firmware would solve this. But if by chance it gets worse I want to be able to roll back.
If I cant backup my firmware. Can Hantek at least make available previous versions ?. So that we can download and re-upload them to the scope. ?.
Either help us backup our existing firmware. Or make available previous versions. What have you got to loose ?.
I found a backup script online. It creates a backup of 4 files. I hope this will be enough to roll back.
Will just try the latest firmware now. It would be nice if you had a location where all earlier versions of the firmware were made available.
