New to using a digital scope (DSO2C10_ I just received.  It has already been of great help but I do not understand why the scope has what I think is a floating ground when I look at the DVM screen using a 1X or 10X probe, or a cable on the Input Channel with the two leads shorted together.  I should expect zero voltage to be shown.  My beginner understanding may be flawed?  Please help me to understand what I may be doing wrong or if my new scope has an issue.
