4084B cannot be turned on after being idle for a period of time

Hi, unit was working perfect for 1 year, then stored for 18 months, now try to power on, and unit is stuck on boot screen,

i have read advise on several forums, - cannot enter F2 boot mode from the boot screen, -

please advise on procedure for factory reset or firmware update ? or battery replacement ?. need advise please.
