Customer Consultation

I just bought your Hantek 2D72. I got a question about the oscilloscope and the probes. I need to meassure the output of a dimmer with 230 vac output. I understand the oscilloscope can take Maximum 150 vrms.
But if I use Probe Attenuation: 10X it will only pass 23 vac to the oscilloscope instead of 230 vac right?

Next question is can the probes safely handle 230 vac? What is the Maximum voltage for the probes?

Thanks

“10X it will only pass 23 vac to the oscilloscope instead of 230 vac right?” --Yes, you are right.

Regarding the specifications of the probe, please check the paper specifications in the probe package.
