The DSO4102C is a good product, but today I realized of a big inconvenience:
it is not possible to use the oscilloscope and the signal generator together, i.e. at the same time! Am I right?
I could never imagine such a thing, what is the rationale? This way the signal generator is unuseful!
In fact, I did the connections, but only the output signal is displayed! Nothing is captured either from CH 1 or CH 2.
If I try to access the channel control menu it says "Operation not supported. Turn off the GEN/DSO first"!

The GEN/DSO button switches the display to GEN and DSO, it will not turn off the signal generator output.
The GEN ON/GEN OUT button controls the output of the signal generator.

Alright Amy, thanks for answering, this way makes sense. I will retry. Sorry for having misunderstood, but nothing is said about this in the manual.
