Hi all,

I recently purchased a DSO2D15 oscilloscope. While simple, it generally does its job ok.

The first glaring issue I notice is a large DC offset on the inputs. It was initially over 250mV on the 10V scale, but was still considerable AFTER RECALIBRATION.
Recalibration helps for the lower ranges but is insufficicent for the higher.

Of course on-screen you can adjust the trace position but the offset is taken into account when using the MEASURE function, rendering it very inaccurate.

Other scopes have a much longer recalibration process and I believe store an offset for each range. Hantek should try that instead of one offset for all ranges.

Any tips to improve this?

Any help much appreciated.

I bought a dso4254c oscilloscope with exactly the same problem. Correspondence with the service from the official Hantek store gave nothing. Contacting the service on the Hantek website also did not give anything, they simply do not respond, although the website says about support 24 hours a day. Hantek are just scammers, they sell low-quality appliances and do not provide any support. If you want a good instrument, buy from Keysight, Tektronix, Le Croy, Rohde & Schwarz. And Hantek sells consumer goods, not serious equipment and deceives its customers.

The oscilloscope must be warmed up for at least 30 minutes before calibrating, which means it needs to be turned on for at least 30 minutes. If you still have questions, please send the video to wangjing@hantek.com.

I have already heard enough of these tips from "specialists" from Huntek. I warmed the oscilloscope for several hours !!!!!!!!! and then performed calibration. This does not help the offset remains. In the photo, you can see the situation after warming up for several hours and calibration. I've already sent a lot of files, do I have to send them out now for half my life, or does Huntek finally recognize the problem of selling faulty devices and start helping his customers?
