I now have Firmware 3202 and Software 20210714.00 installed
It looks like the Update files need to be in the root Folder of the Memory stick.
So far, after several hours of operation, I have not seen a single instance of frozen screens or mis-operations.
In addition it is worth noting that I do not suffer from offset issues which other people have mentioned.
I tried to update the scope with "dso3kb_20210714" and then "dso3kb_20210630_auto_update_fpga".
In both cases the update failed with the same error: "ted failed! Error code is -3"
I am experiencing similar issues to those reported on your forum, ie Frozen screens when navigating menus and sometimes incorrect settings.
Any ideas, and what does Error code -3 mean?
Software bugs cannot be fixed by hardware repairs. I believe that programmers will fix bugs in the future.
But a change in the temperature regime of the "hardware" very often gives a malfunction in the software.

Where is the video and how you will convince us that you will solve software problems with just adding a fan. DSO2D15 have a lot of work on software to become acceptable product. Hanging when move vertical position of CH1 is fixed, but trigger sync is bad, generator is just to be there and attract costumers. No bode plot, decoder is not good. It is cheap, ok, but in my opinion is far away from acceptable measurement equipment.
