Customer Consultation

Hellol
I have two usb scopes and both units do the same thing...
I use my computer to teach my students and show waveforms and what to expect... but when I connect my units to a 120 volt load to show waveforms, and all setting are set..
it causes my computer to go blank and needs to be rebooted...
the units I am using ( not at the same time) is a hantek dsc 2090 and  the 6022BE which I cannot switch to AC in the software and both drivers are up to date..
Do you have any suggestions on how I can get one of them to work and not crash my computer???
thank you.

Where does your test signal come from?
Is the attenuation set for the test probe?
It is recommended that you isolate the power supply between the computer and the test signal, or isolate the USB port between the oscilloscope and the computer.

DSO2090 has AC, DC and GND coupling.
Hantek6022BE only has DC coupling.

It must be connected via an analog transformer with a transformation ratio of 1: 1. The computer to which the oscilloscope is connected must be galvanically isolated from the mains. For this reason, my oscilloscope 6204BD went out of order for me and added malfunctions to the board of the laptop that I was repairing.
