In 2021, I bought a new Hantek 2D72 from Banggood. It worked flawlessly so far. However, since I wanted to have German language on my 2D72, two days ago I tried to updrade the firmware of the device with a dfu file provided by the Joy-It for their model DMSO2D72, which seems to by identical with the 2D72. A very bad idea. ;)
According to your instructions I tried to upgrade the respective dfu file.
Unfortunateyl, after pressing the Upgrade button, nothing happenend after several minutes. So I broke up the process by quitting Dfuse. That bricked my 2D72. With inserted batteries, the power button only shows a red light, while with a plugged USB cable, it only flashes red. Nothing else happens. No further reaction on pressing the power und/or the F1 button.
I found several instructions on how to unbrick my 2D72 again (e.g. this one one Youtube), but they all didn't work with the respective files for flashing the bootloader (flash_loader_demo_v.2.8.0.exe,USB_Bootloader_V2.0.bin). Here you can see an original picture of my flashing setup using an FTDI USB to TTL serial adapter with VCC set to 5 V.
After pressing the Next button within the Flash Loader Demo program, I only got the message that the device couldn't be found. The PCB of my 2D72 is somewhat different from those shown in the internet. Hence, I wonder if I connected it correctly. Or do I require a different adapter and/or different flash files from those I used so far?
I really would appreciate your support.
Best regards,
Thorsten
