DSO2D15
Strait out of box with problems
Lockup occurs after actions from key panel
More prevalent CH1 vertical knob movement but will Lockup
after a number of movements of other keys

Large amount of switch-mode noise both channels and
Wave generation appears to be modulated by switch-mode noise

Utility key test passes
Software reloaded but no difference

Yes, these new series of oscilloscopes has known serious freeze and lockup problems. The somewhat good news is that it seems to be caused for very bug firmware, therefor, it could be fixed by Hantek, if they want.

Which is you software and firmware version? (check the Sys Info page in your oscilloscope). Hantek has released already some updates and, apparently, some versions are more stable than others.

Others also reported the noise inject in both channels, it's probably from the PSU and is caused by the lack of shielding.

But we are still waiting for a definitive solution from Hantek.
