I have had a DSO4202C (T 1G/049 005308) for 2 years and the USB on the front has never worked. At the time neither the supplier nor Hantek were able to give advice on how to fix it so I have had to use it without. Both were unconcerned about a fauly item being delivered but, as I wasn't using the front USB I carried on without.
Yesterday the scope wouldn't boot up and I had to revert to the original factory firmware 3.50.0.
I have found a more recent firmware online, but I can't upgrade it without the front USB working.
Is there any way I can get the USB fixed, or is there any way I can upgrade via the SD memory card socket?
