I uploaded the file 20200722181235_227151402.rar on a USP 16G and on a 1G but the effect is the same. The message I receive is error 0xfe - No upgrade files detected on USB device!
I have a DSO4102C brand new with sw version 3.50.0 (200410.0).
Please help...

Format your USB flash driver using the SD Formatter tool, copy the .up update file to it and try again

I’ve tried but the 4102 doesn’t recognize the SD. It’s looking for a USB stick.
I managed to unzip the file and I put back on a  2G USB formatted FAT32 but no luck.
Any other suggestions?
Many thanks.

Download the correct file from the product's page: http://www.hantek.com/uploadpic/ ... 81235_227151402.rar

the downloaded file is compressed in .rar format. you need to decompress it to extract the update file inside.

Copy the update file (the one with extension .up) to the the flash drive, you have to copy only the .up file, do NOT put it inside any folder otherwise the oscilloscope will not find it.

Thanks for your suggestion but, unfortunately, doesn't work.
This is what I have done:

1 - formatted an USB 1G in FAT32
2 - downloaded the file 20200722181235_227151402.rar
3 - extracted the file dso4kc_func_hantek_dso_dso4102c_20200722.0.up
4 - copied the file in the USB (it is the only file present, no folders or other files)
5 - insert the USB on the Oscilloscope DSCO4201C and follow the instruction (up to F5)
6 - got the message "Firmware update failed, error: 0xfe - No upgrade files detected on USB device!"
7 - The System Information are:
     [model] DSO4102C
     [sw version] 3.50.0 (200410.0)
     [hw version] 1020xffffa022
     [serial number] T 1G/049 010816
     [boot count] 6
     [upgrade count] 0
     [lcd.front.ts] 3.0.0

Anything else I can try?
Many thanks.

Did you format the USB flash stick using the SD Formatter tool that I referred in my first reply?
