How do I see which Firmware version is currently installed on my 2D42 device?

In Scope mode, press [Menu] then [F4] until you get to page 3/5 of the configuration menu. Press [F3] to select Sys Info.

Or, connect the device to you computer using the USB cable, open the PC software and select Help -> About...

(wel,l at least the PC software is useful for something... )
