Greetings to all,

I just purchased aHantek 1008C.

I bought it todiagnosis my 1993 Chevy C3500 pickup’s ignition system.

The manuals I’vedownloaded discuss the software, but not connecting the device.

Being a novice tothe device, I need illustrations of how to connect the device to myvehicle correctly for each test the software offers.

Until I know how toconnect the device properly without damaging my vehicle, the Hantek1008c, or my laptop, I am unable to proceed.

Please guide me toconnection examples matching the software tests.

There is a lot of videos on YT about this subject. Hantek also posted some time ago a description of some tests here in the forum, if I find the link to the thread I will post it here. But, you definitely want to go to PicoScope's website, they have an extensive library describing each test in detail.

Note that PicoScope is another manufacturer and, although the instructions are aimed to its products, they apply for any oscilloscope, the principles are the same.
