Dear Sir/Madam,

An X-Y mode will be a very useful feature to have on your otherwise excellent 3-in-1 Handheld oscilloscopes 2D72 and 2D42. For instance with the X-Y mode the oscilloscope could be used as a component tester. You do support X-Y mode on the PC software used by these scopes. However being able to use the feature on the handheld scope itself makes the scope more complete and useful. The PC software is probably more interesting for someone who likes to use PC based USB scopes.

I understand adding an X-Y mode would require a software and not hardware modification. I would be most grateful if you could kindly consider such an X-Y mode in your future software roadmap for the 2D72 and 2D42 scopes.

PS: I own the 2D72 scope.

Kind regards
bthomas

But there is already X-Y mode in this oscilloscope, just press "Time" button and then use F1 to cycle through Y-T, Roll and X-Y modes.

You are right. Thank you very much. I was misled by posts in this thread https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/hantek-2c422c722d422d72/ . I guess I should read the whole manual. Which I will do now.
