1008C All input channels show max 1V

Hi Team

I am so sad I love my 1008C scope ,Yesterday I worked with it in an area where there were a lot of ESD running even my PC stopped (freezed some times)
the result of this is my scope is now broken all the channels can only show max 1V mexample I apply 5V DC to channel 1 with probe set at x1 I see only 1 V
if I connect the probe to the calibration points which should be 2Vp-p I get a 500mV p-p signal
Can you tell me if it is possible to repair the scope ? Can I test some componets to track the broken commponent

To return it for repair will cost the same a new one,
