Can someone help, I'm trying to repair my dso 5102p scope. From the way some of the components are placed there is a resistor on the channel 2 circuit I'm not sure if it 088 or 880 and also can someone tell me the value of the resistor. I'm quite new to this and I've managed to take the resistor off channel 2 circuit with my hot air gun and can't find it. The same resistor is on channel one, I've measured it with 3 different multimeters and I'm getting three different readings. Please help.

I have gone through quite a few discussions on here, and it seems there's a problem with nearly every model of hantek scopes. To be honest, if you know there are issues with these items then why do you still put them out for sale. Hantek seem to be a company run by chances. Surely if you know there are issues then why don't you adress those issues and put a product out there that people will trust. I don't think I would buy hantek ever again. The after sales service is not all that, you keep asking people to send photos and videos of the issues they are experiencing when you probably have photos and videos already there. If I knew someone that was going to make a hantek purchase from my experience and hundreds of other people I would tell them to steer clear and purchase some other brand and certainly not hantek.

Don't know how to upload photo of resistor, but if you have a look at channel 1 or 2 circuit in the dso 5102p scope, it's the resistor or I think it's a resistor next to Q101 and marked either 088 or 880. My multimeter reads it at about 179kohms.

To be honest you already have pictures of the component I'm asking about. Will try to source information else where as this is turning out to be more trouble than the worth of it.

I could tell you which component it was if the circuit board was printed. The only thing that is printed on the circuit board are the test points. A lot of the components are placed arse backwards. Cheap Chinese product I suppose.

Please don't complain here. I don't know which component you are talking about. I've already told you how to upload pictures. I can't imagine your problems out of thin air.
