I haven't used my DSO4254C in a few months.
Booted up this morning and the language had changed from English to Dutch and several of the buttons would not work.

I tried rebooting but the problem persists.
I also tried to factory reset via recovery mode but F1 is unresponsive so this is not an option.
As many of the controls are unresponsive I cannot perform a firmware update.

The horizontal control makes the Oscilloscope go crazy!

Here's a video of the problems:

Is this a hardware issue?
Is there any hope of getting my scope working again?

Sir, maybe poor contact between keyboard and keypad.
You can try to remove the key pad and pad and wipe the contact part of the keyboard and keypad with alcohol.

Hi Amy,
Thanks for the reply.

I've disassembled the device and cleaned all pads and contacts with IPA. The DSO is still no good.

Several buttons are not working.
Several knobs are not working.

Rotating the horizontal control makes several functions turn on and off. Much like pressing lots of different buttons (including the ones which are not working).

I purchased this DSO from your AliExpress offical store (Nov 2017).
I feel like this is a hardware issue. Am I still covered under warranty?
