Hi there,
I was measuring a tube amplifier 120vac signal with the Hantek 2d42 wirelessly (no usb attached). I heard a buzz sound then the scope rebooted. No oscilloscope signal, but the AWG and DMM still work fine.

Would anyone have a clue what the problem could be?
Thanks.

From the current phenomenon, more than one component may burn out. Sorry, we can not accurately judge.

Hi amy,
is there a location that the engineer would suggest to look for the 'burned out' components?

Thanks.

Hi amy,
is there anywhere in Canada that I can return this for warranty. Shipping to China is cost prohibitive.

Thanks.

Sir, our engineer analysis that maybe the protective component on the circuit is broken.
When you input high voltage, it will cause other components to burn out.
Please contact your seller to return factory for repair.

Hi guys,
So I tried resetting to defaults and it doesn't seem to fix it. When i move the channel to the top of the screen, then bring it back down, a ripply waveform follows it. As soon as I stop 'pulling' it down, it  'snaps' back to the top. I can do this with both channels.

Also when i push 'auto' i don't hear the relays clicking anymore.

I upgraded the firmware and fpga and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I've uploaded a video of this happening.

Thanks for you help.
