I just got a brand new DSO4254C and it worked for a couple of hours for the initial calibration and simple tests. Then, all of a sudden, the screen went off. I waited for a couples of minutes and then, tried to reboot. Everytime I reboot, all the fron lights (buttons and VO LED) turn on but the screen never tuns on.

Did you email the gentleman referred in the previous message? Did you solve this?

All the LEDs are ON, but the scope does not boot.

It is the 3rd time it happens in 3 month... Last time, it took few days and several attempts to finally come to life again...

Is there any way to plug a console or something like that to see what is going wrong ?

Now, it seems to work...

This is very strange. This is not the first time that it happens...

Any idea what might go wrong ?

FW update fixed it for a month. I still had a couple of resets, but less frequent.

Today, I got one more reset and it does not start anymore..

I can't even access the recovery page with the power ON/OFF trick...

Any idea ?
