Update the firmware of Hantek2D72/2D42/2C72/2C42

Update with DFU software.
1. Download the programming tool in the following link and install. http://hantek.com/en/ProductDetail_1_13174.html
2. Press F1 and Power on button of the oscilloscope at the same time to enter programming mode.

3. Connect the oscilloscope to the computer and open the device manager of the computer.
4. Find a new device and right click it to update the driver. The driver files are in this path: STMicroelectronics\Software\DfuSe v3.0.5\Bin\Driver.

5. Open DfuSe Demo software, click "Choose" to select the firmware (***.dfu), and click "Upgrade" to update the firmware. After updated, click "Leave DFU mode" to exit the programming mode.

Also, users can use the software to update the firmware.
1. Download the software in the following link and install. http://hantek.com/en/ProductDetail_1_13174.html
2. Connect the scope to your computer via the USB cable.
3. Run the software Hantek2xx2.
Confirm the scope is connected to the computer successfully.
If not, please open the device manager to install the driver maunally.
4. Click "Help->CheckUpdate" to open HT2xxAutoUpdate software, now update according to Wizard.

Баг с выключением при переходе с 50ms на 20ms исправлен!
Баг с автоматическим переключением из режима Roll в режим Y-T испрпавлен!

Порошивка одинаковая на всех этих осциллографах. 2C42/2D42/2C72/2D72

Ну что... Разработчики игнорят, пришлось самому всё делать.
Ловите и наслаждайтесь!

Мною проведены исправления!
Прошивка создана на основе HantekHTX2019110801.

Что изменено:
Уменьшено время отображения меню с 17 секунд до 8 секунд.

Исправленны назначения кнопок, в режиме настройки усилителя и развёртки.
Теперь стрелка вправо увеличивает амплитуду отображаемого сигнала, а стрелка влево уменьшает.
Стрелка вниз замедляет развёртку, стрелка вверх ускоряет.
Теперь управление как на любом нормальном осциллографе!

И наверное самое главное:
Теперь можно переключаться между настройками не вызывая отображения меню!
Нажатие кнопок F1,F2,F3,F4 не вызывает появление меню.
F1 активирует настройку усилителя Ch1.
F2 активирует настройку усилителя Ch2.
F3 активирует настройку Trig.
F4 развёртки Time.

Все остальные функции работают как в оригинальной прошивке. Но появился сложно преодолимый баг:
Режима ROLL теперь не переключается автоматически в режим Y-T, при ускорении развертки выше 100мс/дел.

Извините что пишу ещё раз. В коммента ...

Теоретически всё возможно... Но практически - очень сложно осуществимо...

У меня нет исходников программы, есть только возможность редактировать заводскую прошивку, ограничиваясь её адресацией... Там много всякого лишнего, что-то можно выкинуть, немного переделать, изменить, но только в рамках существующего кода и в рамках его размера.
Я не могу просто взять и добавить какой-то функционал, которого там нет вообще, не убрав чего-то другого.

Вполне вероятно, что проще написать полностью свою прошивку, чем исправить все недостатки и доделать эту.

Если будет время я ещё покопаю... Есть желание добавить возможность изменять частоту генератора, не выходя из режима осциллографа.

Для кардинальных изменений и улучшений нужно иметь исходники...

AxGxP хочу сказать вам огромное спасибо, за проделанную работу. Вы воплотили большинство исправлений, которые просили люди у разработчика на протяжении целого года. Единственное, что осталось изменить без серьезного редактирования кода, это изменить цвет фона menu measurement, с серого на черный. Ну или хотя бы на темно серый. Ибо реально порой трудно рассмотреть показания, даже имея хорошее зрение.

Nice job! I will be testing the mods and I'll report back.

It's a shame that hantek doesn't care to improve the software of its devices. If they open sourced the code we would have by now a useful device and they would be selling 10x more of it.

what about make menu hide on pressing "Enter" or "Menu" second time?
Change button Left<->Right in Channel Mode (voltage/division)?
Change button Up<->Down in Time Mode (seconds/division)?

Is it so hard to make this changes?

Joy-It has now provided a firmware that can be updated directly via DfuSe Demo. I have tested it with my Hantek 2D72 and the flashing process did work flawlessly.

If the manufacturer does not want to upgrade the device and fix bugs in the software, can you get the firmware in its original form? I think then the craftsmen would write a normal firmware. Which would fix and add a lot. I think there is no secret in the firmware so that the manufacturer does not give the source code.

Can we get software to change it and upgrade?

I updated Hantek 2D72 with 2021090901.dfu. After that, the Scope showed crazy results in terms of generator output. For example, the sine wave was displayed incorrectly at 1 volt. After calibration everything seems to work again. It's nice that the menu is hidden earlier. The measurements are great too. Unfortunately, the measured values have to be re-entered every time you restart.

Hi, i have update my Hantek 2D82 with firware 2021090901.dfu with sucess but when i enter in Sys info on my 2D82 i see still old version CAR2021081801.

Ok, I think I've resolved the issue. The computer I'm using has a lot of STM32 Programs, and presumably some are more recent than the dfuse version. So windows 10 installs thesse on first plug in then refuses to use the correct drivers.

My solution is to use a laptop which has no other stm installs, and after that it worked as advertised.

In the hope this may assist someone else

I'm trying to flash my 2D42 with the latest firmware, currently running 2020011801. I am having troubles with the AWG not working, but it will when commanded by the PC running Hantek2xx2.

I have installed DFuse program but it won't recognise the 2d42. I have used device manager to try to update the driver, but windows 10 insists that the best driver is already installed, STM32 Bootloader.

Both the power and play button lights are flashing so I think I am in programming mode OK.

Can someone offer any assistance with this ??

Test the voltage at these points after the oscilloscope is turned on.

After waiting for a very long long time for my order from Aliexpress to arrived(Ordered = January 6, Received = April 16) I've finally fixed my poor oscilloscope by replacing the chip with a code"LTRA".
TP Voltages
1. +5V = +4.9V
2. -5V = -3.7V
3. +3.3V = +2.9V

Thank you so much sir for providing me the TP voltage, I've managed to find the faulty components. I hope it will last long this time because it's not easy to buy a replacement chip here in my place.

On Hantek Scope (version 1.1.14) could no longer find the check for updates option (no longer listed). Was this removed with 1.1.14 for some reason?
Anyway thanks to the info on Page 1 I have just updated my 2C42 to the latest version (2021090901) and it seems to be working fine.

It doesn't show any lines because you have to do a calibration without signal, you're a donkey, the new firmware brings new functions to add or remove in the measurement box.
