Where did you downloaded it? Can you post it here?

I got it as well using the AutoUpdate tool from the software, I can't access Hantek's website since a few days ago already.

I didn't notice any big change, the important features that were requested were not implemented. The last version of the PC software (1.1.11) has a lot of more bugs and still unusable, I don't know if I will even bother to report them because Hantek seems not to care.

Tip: do NOT use the options "force update" in the AutoUpdate tool, it will install the 2D82auto FW in your device, no matter what option you choose.

Yep, I can confirm that. With FW 2019091901 and 2019103001 the device settings are not saved and it is restored to default every time you turn off and on the scope again.

Jezz! This is getting embarrassing, Hantek can't release a single FW update to fix a bug without adding another one even worse...
I'm starting to wondering if they make any kind of test at all before releasing the software to the users...

Oh sorry! It's not a bug it's a feature then! My bad, so let's wait for the next interaction of the FW to see if I can finally use the device.

Agreed, finally a FW version that I can use.

I hope they can now focus on adding the very much needed features like the menu hide and more automatic measurements options. Oh and fix the pc software as well...

Yep, that is one of the many bugs in the PC software (ver 1.1.11). You can use the software version 1.1.10 until Hantek decides to fix it, or not.

Nice job! I will be testing the mods and I'll report back.

It's a shame that hantek doesn't care to improve the software of its devices. If they open sourced the code we would have by now a useful device and they would be selling 10x more of it.

Good afternoon. Just purchased the device. I decided to make an update through the program and lower ...

Just run the "AutoUpdate tool again from the software. Hantek apparently updated its repository, now it will install FPGA version 07 and FW 2020052201.

Hantek also updated the PC software (new version is 1.1.12). It's a good sign, it means that, at least, they are still supporting the device.

It looks more stable now, but there's no new features, though. The menu still takes forever to close every time you need to change a setting, its very annoying.
And you can't use the digital oscilloscope to do automatic measurements like Vrms, Vpp, Duty Cycle and so on. If you need that, you'll have to go back to the times of old analog scopes and count traces in the grid on the screen and use a calculator hopeless.

In the PC software, since the last version (1.1.11), when trying to use "Autoset" I get an error message.

Download and install the latest PC software (v1.1.12) and run the update again, it should have fixed this issue.

Or simply download the firmware from the product's page and install it manually. Refer to the first post of this thread to know how to proceed to install the firmware.

Hey. Does a developer not want to add features of adult oscilloscopes to the firmware? By voltage: V ...

Don't hold your breath. This issue has been raised many times already and Hantek shows no interest in improve the firmware.

That's is hard to understand since even the much cheaper DIY DSO138 oscilloscope can do more automatic measurements and can show them in a better way on the screen.
Those FNIRSI scopes from bangood or aliexpress are crappy but they also have many measurements options and can display it on the screen in a very intuitive way.

Another irritating problem is the lack of option to close the menu after you change any configuration, you have to wait an eternity for it to close.

To be fair, Hantek has fixed most of the bugs and the FW is very stable now and, if you find any problem, just report it that eventually they will fix it.

What they are not doing is implementing new features. They don't want to expend more time=resources=money in a mature product to add new features (and probably new bugs as well).

I'm also disappointed, the device could be way more useful with a few tweaks, but I can understand the business mentality.

If you think that it's easy and you can write a better firmware, go for it, what is holding you?
