Title: Latest firmware for MSO5074FG?

I cannot find the MSO5074FG on your latest firmware page. Where can I find the firmware for this oscilloscope?

Thank you. You must have updated the page very recently, when I checked the page yesterday there was no firmware on the page, only the windows software/driver and manual.

Please tell me, can you provide a changelog (list of changes) with this firmware update? I have been experiencing triggering issues (simple square wave, trigger is in the middle are of the waveform, rising or falling edge) it has a LOT of trouble triggering when set to "normal" instead of "auto"

In "auto" it seems to trigger fine, but will of course refresh the display when there is no edge (which is expected).

Dir sir,
Please discribe the trigger problem in detail again.

Hi,

I've just updated the firmware too and have trigger problems too.

- Connecting the CHx probe to the test output connector
- Adjusting 2V/div
- Set trigger level somewhere between
- Trigger: Edge, CHx,, DC Coupling
If you now change the vertical position upwards above the trigger level the triggering stops.
Seems you don’t calculate the trigger level correctly with the vertical position.

And by the way: I am still not happy with exemining a single shot measurement.
I expect to be able to zoom/shift the view of the captured data, but this now seems only to work with the normal (oscilloscope) mode - the other modes are having problems (don't shift/zoom od loss of data view)

Dir sir,
The trigger level has a little deviation. Please set the appropriate Volt/Div.

Hello again -- I once again do not see firmware for this oscilloscope on the page. Only windows software and windows driver.

Is there an update after 160630.0? The trigger issue is frustrating; adjusting trigger is buggy when in "normal" mode.

e.g. if input signal is 1V P-P and trigger is at 3V with normal settting, naturally there is no trigger (trigger threshold is too high). However, rotating trigger level dial slowly to reduce trigger voltage does not work. You must rotate dial quickly which leads to big jumps in trigger level. It is impossible to adjust slowly and carefully.

Also, I see no way to adjust horizontal probe offset/skew (i.e. connect ch1,2,3,4 to cal input, each channel will be offset from others a little bit, most scopes have a way to adjust each channel left/right to line them all up so they are exact. LA also has no way to correct skew with analog scope inputs.

One other bug I found in the scope firmware that I forgot to mention.

If I have a waveform on the screen with cursors (time) and I stop acquisition with run/stop button, if I try to move cursor around the trigger waveform disappears!

It would be nice to be able to freeze the waveform and move cursors around to make measurements

Sir, we will reply you after testing. Please wait for a while.

Any news here ? I am concerned about the Hantek update strategy and the will to fix bugs in their products. The "little deviation" is not so little, it is nearly unusable. When can we get a working firmware here ?

Still no update available? I don't understand HANTEK here - this "little deviation" makes it nearly unusable as described below (these settings are for 3.3V measurements more as appropriate.
So no update for more than 2 years.
My opinion: This product is dead. Forget HANTEK

(@Hantek: an update with these fixed bugs could change my mind, but for me it seems you behave like a typical asian company - build with poor quality and no responsibility on fixing SW issues. Sorry for these words)
