Please tell me where to find the release notes for this? I want to know what new features and bug fixes to expect with this update.

Well? Are you going to enlighten us?

Dear  Sir ,
We do not release the description of the version to the outside world.

Thats very unprofessional in the test equipment business not to inform customers what
you corrected in your firmware.

Thank god we have Rigol, Tek, Agilent, Owon....who do extend this basic information
for our test equipment users.

What are you people thinking ?

Regards, Dana.

Dear  Sir ,
We do not release the description of the version to the outside world.

I've been writing software professionally for 30+ years. Our customers would stop buying our equipment if our software updates/support were shrouded in secrecy.

The problem I have with your approach is that your updates have a history of breaking working features. Without knowing what has been improved and fixed I have no way of gauging whether any potential benefits of this upgrade outweigh the risks of breaking something fundamental.

I'm somewhat disappointed that I've bought into this nonsense

There we go, was it really that difficult! But yikes, your software is riddled with bugs and crying out for improvements. Is that really all that's been addressed in 6 months?

Maybe the reluctance to be forthcoming with release notes is more out of shame!

Releasing the source codes would allow enthusiasts out there to correct the bugs much faster and make this machine extremely popular...
