Title: DSO5102B firmware updates fail with 0xfe
I’ve tried upgrading the firmware on my DSO5102B using the files below, and both resulted in 0xfe errors (no update file found).
dso5kb_func_dso5102b20140610.up
dso5kb_func_dso5202b20190830.up

These firmware files were obtained from the Hantek website.

I tried multiple FAT32-formatted 1GB & 8GB USB flash drives.  The flash drives are otherwise operational with the scope.  I can save waveforms and screenshots to USB ok.  I've reformatted so the only file present is the firmware up file.  No luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

Scope S/N: T 1G/012 005459
SW version: 2.06.3 (120224.0)
HW version: 0x555583e8

Thanks

Dear Sir,
The version on the official website is dso5kb_func_dso5102b20190830.up. Did you download it right?

Yes, I have download the last firmware (dso5kb_func_dso5102b20190830.up) in different computers, but always resulted in 0xfe error.
Any help would be apreciated.

Thanks.

Reviewing the forum I have found a similar topic:

In this post a member sends a alternative firmware compatible that solves the problem.
But this firmware is for DSO5202B. Amy or anyone has alternative firmware for DSO5102B?

Thanks

Your oscilloscope version is too old. Updating the firmware may cause it to fail to start.
