I emailed the following questions on November 28, 2021. There has been no action by Hantek to date.
Can Hnatek please reply?

Subject: Hantek 1008c

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I purchased Hantek 1008c, feeling my way through using it and
I spent the whole day on it today.

My version includes a probe with a wire clamp and Hantek HT-25
on it.

Some of your pre-programmed patterns for wave pattern measuring
say in the left bottom corner in red letters "Probe connected to CH 1
via attenuator 20:1" and some do not say anything about the attenuator,
just say "Probe connected to CH1."

QUESTIONS:

1. Do I need to buy the 20:1 attenuator and if so, for which measurements
or, is that taken care by Hantek HT-25 on the (new?) probe with the wire
clamp?

2. Do I need to buy Hantek CC 65 (65 Amps) and / or Hantek CC 650
(650 Amps) for certain measurements and if so, for which ones?

3. Where do I find a complete description how to connect Hantek 1008c
with the wire clamp and Hantek HT-25 on it for various kinds of
measurements envisioned in your pre-programmed wave patters?

4. Is the wire clamp with Hantek HT-25 and the eight probes with red and
black alligator clips all that is required for any kind of measurements?

Thank you,

Ivan Orisek

1. To measure the primary ignition waveform, use a 20:1 attenuator; HT-25 is 10,000 times attenuation, which is used to measure the spark plug waveform.
2. CC-65 and CC-650 are used to measure current, select the model according to the required range.
3. There are various waveform measurement methods in the 1008C software, including attenuators, extension cords, alligator clips, etc. that need to be used. (View attached video)
4. The accessories required to measure different waveforms are also different, you'd better choose according to your needs.
