Title: DSO4104B firmware
Edited by alex-k at 2021-12-7 13:02

Hello.
I'm using DSO4104B.
When I changed to DSO4000B Firmware updated on July 1, 2021,I can't operate the waveform correctly.

The value is incorrect even if a 1KHz 2Vp-p reference waveform is input.
You will also see error -100.

I would like to revert to the original firmware, where can I download it?

Thanking you in advance.

Please try to restart and see if it can be restored.
May I ask whether your machine can perform self-calibration.

Thank you for your reply.

I restarted, but it still doesn't work properly.

I also tried calibration, but as soon as I started, the message "ERROR: 502d4" was displayed and it stopped.

If there is a way to get it back, please let me know.

I'm sorry, but thank you.

Thank you for your reply.

During the self-calibration, is it warmed up at least 30 minutes in advance without connecting any wires?

Thank you for Jing's advice.

I tried to calibrate after warming up for about 1 hour without connecting anything, but it was also "ERROR: 520d4".
(I wrote "ERROR: 502d4" yesterday, but "ERROR: 520d4" is correct)

I downloaded the firmware again and tried updating it again, but it didn't work either.

Thank you for Jing's advice.

I tried to calibrate after warming up for about 1 hour without connect ...

Open the machine to see if there is an SD card in the SD card slot. If there is an SD card, short the P5 terminal with a wire, then turn on the machine to automatically program the program, and then try the self-calibration after the program is programmed.

Thank you for your advice.
I'm on a business trip right now, so I'd like to try it when I get home.
Open the cover and look for the SD card.
Is the P5 terminal a pin in the SD card slot?
And it would be very helpful if you could tell me the pin number to short the P5 terminal.

Thank you for telling me a lot.
Thank you.

If the above method does not work, please provide the serial number of your machine(on the back shell of the machine).
