Customer consultation

I just received my new Hantek DSO2D15 Digital Storage Oscilloscope.

When I adjust the vertical position knob, the Oscilloscope freezes.
I installed the latest firmware from your site, but this does not fix the problem

Equipment 000.000.000.000.000.000.000.001
Firmware 3000
Unstable sync
You sent me an email dso3kb_20210714.
Hanging issues disappeared, but not stable signal sync in Falling mode.
Do I need to apply dso3kb_20210630_auto_update_fpga or can't I?

Apparently, unstable synchronization is present for everyone, I also have it and the firmware does not affect.

Firmware 3000 has not changed to 3202.

How do I change Firmware 3000 to Firmware 3202?

Applied dso3kb_20210601. Firmware 3000 has been replaced with firmware 3102.

Where is the video and how you will convince us that you will solve software problems with just adding a fan. DSO2D15 have a lot of work on software to become acceptable product. Hanging when move vertical position of CH1 is fixed, but trigger sync is bad, generator is just to be there and attract costumers. No bode plot, decoder is not good. It is cheap, ok, but in my opinion is far away from acceptable measurement equipment.

Software bugs cannot be fixed by hardware repairs. I believe that programmers will fix bugs in the future.
But a change in the temperature regime of the "hardware" very often gives a malfunction in the software.

This video does not say that the oscilloscope has been restored to its correct operation, it shows that there are no freezes in this particular case.

I tried to update the scope with "dso3kb_20210714" and then "dso3kb_20210630_auto_update_fpga".
In both cases the update failed with the same error: "ted failed! Error code is -3"

I am experiencing similar issues to those reported on your forum, ie Frozen screens when navigating menus and sometimes incorrect settings.
Any ideas, and what does Error code -3 mean?

I now have Firmware 3202 and Software 20210714.00 installed

It looks like the Update files need to be in the root Folder of the Memory stick.

So far, after several hours of operation, I have not seen a single instance of frozen screens or mis-operations.
In addition it is worth noting that I do not suffer from offset issues which other people have mentioned.

I initially had 3200, now updated to 3202

there are several types of firmware out there (it's different from software). The most common types include:
1) 3000
2) 3200
3) 3102
4) 3202

you may also find the following unique types:
A015 etc

So, it's better for you to check your firmware first before upgrade: 3000 upgrade to 3102, whereas 3200 upgrade to 3202
