Title: 2D72 dead
Hi. My 2D72 is dead, no powering on and not charging (all led is always off). I bought it from Hantek online store about two yers ago.
Battery ok, about 4 volt.
Probably usual known problem, but page with files and explanation is expired.
What should I do?

Thx for answering.

Please power with the power adapter, and test the voltage of these points.

Hi amy, thx for answering.
5v on fuse and on capacitor, but no 4.5v on C19 and no 3.1v on L5.
U6 becomes hot (id marker is not visible on IC, so I not see his datasheet).
C19, C15 and C21 is as shorted (not have schematic, so I do not know if connected to U6).

We initially suspect that the U6 is faulty. If you can find this chip, please replace it to try.
The model of U6 is HM4052. If you can't find HM4052, you can try it with another chip (ETA6002). They should have the same function.
If you are unable to complete these, please contact your seller for renovation.

Thank you very much amy.
I will buy it on aliexpress. Time for delivery is abuot 45 days for Italy.

Seller is Hantek store and unfortunately it costs me cheaper to buy it back than to send it to China for renovation.

In any case I will desolder U6 from board and try if my 2d72 power on only with battery.
I will keep you update.

ok, I try to short pin 6 and 7 of u6 and it go with battery.
I not shure it's a good things, but now I know that my 2d72 work and problem is U6.
I wait for it.

I replaced U6 with ETA6002 and my 2D72 is alive.
Thank you amy.

Hi, I experienced the same initial issue as levj, however I measure 0V at all points when using the screws as ground. My board differs slightly from the posted image - I have attached an image. I disconnected the top board and used a USBC power supply while testing the points. Please let me know if there is anywhere else I should check!
Thanks,
