Title: Hantek DSO8202E Firmware update procedure USB FAT32 Drive Recognition issue [Print this page] Author: Ryan_Voyager Time: 2020-12-20 02:30 Title: Hantek DSO8202E Firmware update procedure USB FAT32 Drive Recognition issue I tried updating my DSO8202E with latest dso1kb_func_hantek_dso_dso8202e_20191226.0.rar firmware from site. Issue is it won't recognize my USB Drive. I've tried 2 drives and tried Fat16 and Fat32. I've formatted them from a Mac, Linux and a PC VM. First thumb drive was an 8gb and second was a 4gb. When I tried Fat16 I formatted the partition as 2gb. No matter what I get the error. "The oscilloscope can only support U disk formatted as FAT32". All computer OS's confirm the USB Drive is indeed formatted Fat32. Reading on other forums online it talks about other Hantek DSO models that people have a hard time getting a USB drive to be recognized.
I can't find any real specification on USB Drive requirements other than FAT32. FAT32 has a bare minimum stated support of 32GB and a Max of 2TB and both my USB Drives fall inside that. Any suggestions? Author: ying Time: 2020-12-22 09:24 Edited by ying at 2020-12-22 09:25
The requirements of U disk:
1. Max. 32G
2. The format should be Fat32 and partition. Please refer to the link: https://www.eediscuss.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=14945&highlight=partition Author: jamesthomas Time: 2022-11-5 16:14
