Title: DPO6084C Date&Time
Hi Support, I recently bought a DPO6084C and I am running firmware 2.0.0.1. Date&Time is reset every time I switch off the device. Is it normal?
Thanks
Regards
Francesco

Hi,
i had the same problem with the DPO6084B and with the brand new DPO6204B. Replacing the CR2032 battery on the motherboard solves the problem for 40 ~ 50 days after which the battery is already completely empty. There is no point in changing the battery because it is a factory flaw in the design because the batteries do not last long. Perhaps the schematic diagram would help to figure out where the battery current is leaking, but it is not available so far. regards, Sanjin

Hi Sanjin, thanks for sharing this. At least I now know that is not something wrong with my particular unit

You can try to remove the diode in the picture.

Hi wangshuang, is this a known issue that is known to be fixed by removing that diode? Or it is just a "try and see what happens"? It's a brand new unit, I would like to be sure before messing up with the soldering iron. Any schematics available?

Thanks

Francesco
