Title: 1008C driver install problem
I have an HP Envy x360 laptop AMD CPU.

I have just gotten Hantek 1008C and downloaded the software and drivers.  Device Manager shows yellow !.  Software says searching for device.  I've read forum posts and tried unstalling drivers and software and reinstalling, but it still doesn't recognize the device.
Please help

Thank you

When you install the driver, is there any error prompt in the computer?

No.

The driver installed is Hantek 1008, dated 9/11/2007, version 3.4.7.0

Driver details are HANTEK1008AMD64.SYS, file version 1.0

When I try to update driver, it says Windows determines I have the most current driver

Still have Yellow ! in device manager and software "searching for device" and doesn't find it

That's a common problem with this series of oscilloscope, specially if you use the CD supplied to install it. Before trying to reinstall the driver, you need to completely remove the older files that are in the system. Try this:

1- Break, burn and trash that small CD that came with your scope, so nobody can ever use it again. Download the latest software and driver from the product page's: http://www.hantek.com/en/ProductDetail_13_13170.html

2- Open the Windows device Manager, click in View-> Show Hidden Devices. This will show all the drivers that are installed in your system.

3- Remove ALL drivers related to HANTEK1008C. Important: Make sure to tick the box asking to delete the files from the system:

4- Disconnect and connect the usb cable from the PC. When you see only the device YDJ-2088 in the device manager, select "update driver" to manually install it. Point the location where you extracted the drivers that you got in the first step.

If all was done correctly, the oscilloscope should work now.

So I did as you instructed above and when I install the driver, I get the windows error

Windows encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device.  Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device.  A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source (Code 52)

I use this drivers, it works for me: https://mega.nz/#!DlUhzC4b!VXaS_ ... f9BUYRvNSoVxGsMQSAk

When you download the files, inside the folder "Driver" there are another two folders: "Others" and "Windows10". When manually installing the drivers, selected the correct folder according to your windows version.
