Title: 6074BC - no more connected
I bought a 6074BC USP oscilloscope in March, and I used it with both my PCs (one desktop and one laptop, both running Windows 10). Now when I connect the oscilloscope to my PCs the device is unknown in the Device Manager, and the software is not able to connect it. I tried to update the drivers that I downloaded from the Hantek website, but they do not work.
Does anybody know what happened and what I can do to have my oscilloscope operating again?

Please right click the unknown device, select Properties.
And give me a screenshot of the Hardware ID as the following picture.

Dear Amy,
I suppose that before running CyConsole the 6074BC must be connected to the USB port of the PC. When I open the EZ-USB interface window (see below), nothing happens. All the push buttons are inactive, and I cannot do anything. What is wrong in my operations?

Sir, maybe you need to install the driver.
Open the device manager and find the unknown device to update the driver.

Dear Amy,
now the PC finds the driver of the oscilloscope, but there is a problem in the INF file. The OS is Italian, and the message says:

The INF file from thrid parties does not contain the info of the digital signature

I installed the safety certificate in the cyusb.cat file.

There is something I am missing? Many thanks, Paolo.

Please replace a win7 computer to try ot open the "Disable Driver Forced Signature" on your win10 computer, and update the driver again.

Dear Amy,
I disabled the driver signature verification on Windows 10, and I installed the driver. The device is now connected, but when I start the scope it starts searching the device without finding it.

I am running this version of the scope:

Is there any more recent sw version to run?

You just updated the EZ-USB FX2LP driver.
You need to refer to the attachments on the fourth floor for programming the scope.

Sorry Amy, I found the file and I followed the procedure. Now the device is no more connected.

The message say:

The device driver for this hardware could not be loaded. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
"Invalid image"
%hs is not intended for use with Windows or contains an error. Try reinstalling the program from the original installation media or contact your system administrator or software vendor. Error status: 0x

I tried to re-load the drives, but it says that the driver is OK. I do not know what to do.

I am really wondering if this oscilloscope can really operate with Windows 10 like declared.

The disconnection problem occured after a period of use on the win10 system. Is that not so?

Where did you download the driver you used?
Please give me a screenshot of the hardware ID information again.

This is the message I get, with its translation in english.
I installed the driver you sent me, and it was correct before downloading the DSO6106BD20160601.iic file with CYConsole. After the download, I got this message.

I tried with the Microsoft support, but I couldn.t solve the problem.

Do you have any idea? My PC is running Windows 10 Home, version 1903.

Amy,
I installed the oscillo on a laptop (running Windows 10 Home, version 1903), and it works perfectly. This is very useful, since now I can use the oscilloscope, but it remains the problem of using it with my desktop (Dell XPS 8900, i7-6700).
