Title: DSO1202S a lot of problems / bugs.
Hi !

I've bought this instrument last october (-18) and started to use it last week. A lot of bugs has arised such as:

1) The USB memstick is not recognized on my PC (Win10) and this makes it impossible to do a firmware upgrade and saving waveforms and such.
2) The saving of waveforms (ch1 or ch2) isnt restored to correct place on screen, (if it is shown at all). If I save it on the memstick the PC doesnt find the file(s) ,
why can I dont save both of them, only one is just useless.
3) I cannot connect to the PC via miniusb connector. (Digital Scope Software)

I start with these tre bugs, please respond ASAP.

Regards ....

Stefan

First, confirm the format of the USB stick is FAT32. And the memory less than 16G.

If there is no problem, but still unable to upgrade, refer to this attachment to do USB disk partition.

And try to update again.

This link is valid for only seven days. Please download it as soon as possible.

When you connect your scope to the computer, if you can find the unknown device in device manager, please refer to this post to update the driver:

Hi Amy !

Thanks for you reply, much appreciated.

I've reinstalled the driver and now I can work with scope on my PC. but the driver is called "Measurement Device" not DSO1000S or eq. It has the version 1.1.0.902 (c) 2007.  correct ?

And I had to do an wipe of the 4 Gb USB disk partition and create a new one. And success, now the instrument found the upgrade file and did the upgrade.
But after the updates the fan has started to run and make a terrible buzzing sound, when I tilt the instrument it sounds even louder, what shall I do about that.

Again,  thanks for your tip and help.

Regards ...

Stefan

Hi Amy !

Thanks for you reply, much appreciated.

The fan may be broken.
You can close the fan (press "Utility->More->Fan Test" to close) or replace one.
