Unable to Load a Driver on This Device Security Windows 11 This message appears because the Memory Integrity setting in Windows Security prevents a driver from being loaded on the device. Here are some options you can try if you want to be able to use this driver: n Check whether an updated, compatible driver is available through Windows Update or from the driver manufacturer. n If that doesn't work, you can try turning off the Memory Integrity setting in Windows Security. Warning: Disabling memory integrity on a Secure Core PC takes the device out of the Secure Core state. If you choose to continue using the device without resolving the driver issue, features supported by the driver may no longer work, with consequences ranging from minor to severe. To turn off the Memory Integrity setting 1.Go to the Core Isolation page in Windows Security. 2.Turn off the Memory Integrity setting if it isn't already. You must restart your computer to apply the changes. Note: n You can also open the Core Isolation page by selecting Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device Security and then under Core Isolation select Core Isolation Details. n Even if the driver has a minor vulnerability that prevents it from loading, it is most likely not malicious in any way. n The driver name and company name displayed in the notification are the only reliable information we could gather about the driver. n If an updated driver is not available from the driver manufacturer, you may want to contact them and see if a fix is on the way.
