2c42 bandwidth problem

I ordered the 2c42 handheld scope from Aliexpress Hantek Official Store:

I received it this week, but I found out that the bandwidth is very poor, nowhere near the advertised 40MHz.
I attach three pictures.
1. the scope probe was adjusted at 1kHz to give a good square wave
2. at 50kHz the square wave is already distorted
3. at 100kHz even worse
A 40 MHz scope should give good square wave result up to 4 MHz !!
This is max. 500 kHz bandwidth graciously !
Did I get a bad sample?
Hi, what test line do you use to test square wave?
Have you used another oscilloscope for comparison test?
Please give me more pictures to study.
