Hello,
Looking for an oscilloscope for automotive use. For both antique (from thirties on up) and newer vehicles.
Capability of of 3 cylinders to 16 cylinders would be the ticket.
Not clear on 2, 4, or ? channels, CRT or not, digital, etc.
Small, as in desktop size, is OK. Should I be looking at early Tektronics (spelling?) units?
Budget is under $500ish, I am a tightwad. I have no problems with cobbling something up from various sources - just not clear on how to begin.
Please Help.
