The same problem I have - just purchased 1008C ,tried on 2 computers - one with win7 64bit, another - win10 64bit, the same problem- Hantek software freezes and after few moments I get BSOD (blue screen of death). All drivers are up to date.
Just update - I connected Hantek 1008C USB cable directly to my PC (usually I connect all Chinese units via USB hub, because I had already burned my PC's USB ports...) and the problem dissapeared.
